An exhibition of photographs and paintings inspired by a journey through the islands of Spice, long known as a major influence on world history, society and politics of the time.  Despite their fame, the mesmerising natural beauty and fascinating people preserve their idyll amongst their pristine environment and natural beauty, resisting the onslaught of the 21st century.

Jungle clad limestone islands rise abruptly out of a smooth turquoise sea. Fringing coral reefs and colourful fish frolic in the crystal clear waters below. See it and engage your senses

Islands of the Spice

Jungle clad limestone islands rise abruptly out of the smooth turquoise sea. From the heights of sheer peaks, the islands resemble jeweled drops of tropical paradise, cast randomly on the canvas of the mosaic of pristine sculpture of the sea floor. Ancient volcanic formations are hidden by dense emerald rainforest with elusive  glimpses of exotic orchids

People of the Spice

Hidden in the vast archipelago are remote villages. Tribal culture remains virtually unaffected by the modern world.  The proud villagers are happy, warm and welcoming.  The simple island life continues with traditions, long held by generations and unique to each island.  The dance and music weave a complex interplay of impressions that portray individual stories.

Underwater Marvels

Surrounding the islands is a vast underwater marine world with endless walls of colourful coral.  A natural wonderland of coral sculptures, in myriad colours, teaming with the vibrant dance of marine life.

In deeper water, majestic whale sharks rise from the depths.  Breathtaking in scale, graceful behemoths rise from the depths, eloquently pirouetting in a graceful ballet, before disappearing back into the deep blue.
